"HSA" Newsletter For September

The actual beginning of Voice of Kids "VOK" 2008:

On Tuesday, August 26th 2008 the actual beginning of our annual program Voice of Kids "VOK" has begun. After ending the Seminar which lasted for 10 days in preparation of the project, the project actually began. The group of kids who will be involved in the project and the team work had their first session. Which was basically ice-breaking, that aimed to build initial bonds between the kids on one hand and the kids and the team work on the other hand.
Some of the parents of the kids participated in the activities and reflected their positive thoughts about the project and the entire positive atmosphere that the team work created for the kids.
This project is supported by Medico International, ADP Spain, Human Supporters Paris but we are still looking for supports for complete this wonderful program. Do not hesitate to contact us if you wish to participate.

School bags and supplies distribution:

Upon the beginning of the new school year, "HSA" distributed some school bags and supplies to the needy of the old city in Nablus, the process went on for 3 days distributing nearly (250) bags filled with school supplies. This comes in the context of lending a helping hand to the needy in the old city. And in continuation to the previous projects that the association has made in that direction for the past few years.

The Free Medical Day:

On Friday the 29th of August 2008, a free medical day will be held to look after the sick and needy residents of the old city of Nablus, which will include free medical examining for the sick and distribution of free medicines to those who need it and can't afford it in the old city.
The volunteering doctors are all specialists in their fields of expertise and so is the supporting medical staff for that day. It will be an all day long event based in one of the schools ( Zafer El-Masri)of the old city.

Human Supporters and in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, which is a month of special importance for Muslims. This is followed by the Eid "one of the 2 only celebrations for Muslims".
